HKS Hill Glazier to Design Crowne Plaza Near East China Sea

HKS Hill Glazier Studio has been selected to design the Crowne Plaza Ningbo Xiangshan Sea View in China. The 300-room resort, situated among waterfalls and more than 20 freshwater and saltwater pools, offers both a beach and mountain experience, thanks to the location of the nearby East China Sea. "The resort is unlike any other in the region," says Steve Doyel, senior designer with HKS."Our design celebrates this unique and inspiring environment."

Accommodations include 50 mountaintop units with adjacent pools and extraordinary ocean views, as well as eight mountain treehouse bungalows with private terraces and pools. The project is scheduled for completion in 2012.
